Performance Art + Experiential Art
With an approach to yoga/asana, naturism, kink, and psychedelic integration as varying degrees of embodiment in cognitive-somatic practice, arts-based research, and activation in bodymind politics (including but not limited to rest as resistance, pleasure activism, and somatic abolitionism), performance artist and ordained celebrant by the universal life church, Rev. Kristine N. Leslie, facilitates:
[the] marriage/ceremonies of commitment between our creative and care economies
alignment of mind-body-soul-spirit
yoking the perceived separation between the individual and the collective
This transformative educational framework integrates mindfulness, movement, and creative expression with social justice principles. Rooted in accessible and trauma-informed practices, the curriculum explores the deep connections between self-care, community care, and systemic change. By centering rest as resistance, joy as resilience, and justice as collective care, the curriculum empowers individuals to embody holistic well-being while fostering a deeper understanding of equity, inclusion, and cultural empowerment. Designed for classes, courses, workshops, trainings, and community activations, this framework is the intellectual property of Kristine Leslie and is intended for personal use within the workshop context.
Topics may include, but are not limited to:
Anti-Capitalism and Regenerative Disobedience
Ethnic and Race-Based Stress, Trauma, and Healing
Pleasure Activism and Bodymind Politics
Kink as a Tool for Empowerment
Relationship Anarchy and Alternative Economies
Creative Activism in the Classroom
Equity and Access Coordination in the Arts, Culture, and Well-being Sectors
This guided workshop and workbook offers a personal journey of self-discovery through the lens of the Rest, Joy, & Justice framework. The workshop explores the distinction between safe spaces, where individuals feel secure and can express themselves without fear, and brave places, which encourage stepping outside of one's comfort zone for growth.
A central part of the workshop is exploring the Comfort Zone, Learning Edge, and Growth Zone. Participants use a sociological identity wheel to explore these concepts in relation to their own experiences. The workshop also outlines the Four Agreements of Courageous Conversation to facilitate dialogue: staying engaged, experiencing discomfort, speaking your truth, and accepting nonclosure.
Quiet Your Mind with Meditation
This "Lunch and Learn" workshop, presented by Consult with Kristine, focuses on the foundational principles and practical application of mindfulness and meditation. The workshop defines mindfulness as "a state of compassionate present awareness" and highlights its physical and psychological benefits. Practical techniques include breath awareness, mindful movement, and meditation practices like Yoga Nidra and sound baths. The curriculum is informed by a trauma-informed and neuro-inclusive approach.
A dynamic and innovative workshop blending the power of play, mindfulness, and movement. Designed to revitalize the connection between language, literacy, and personal growth, this offering nurtures cognitive development, social-emotional learning, and nervous system regulation. The class features book selections and music curated from the Honeypot On The Wound syllabus by Dr. Deja L. Jones.

A unique practice combining breathwork, yin yoga, and a 4/20-friendly ethos to foster community, harm reduction, and intentional healing. Rooted in the recreational, spiritual, and medicinal aspects of cannabis, this offering supports self-discovery, connection, and holistic well-being. Through mindful movement, reflective stillness, and psychedelic peer support, participants explore the intersection of body politics, mindfulness, and altered states while cultivating rest, restoration, and collective healing.
This offering blends the raw intimacy of figure modeling with the playful edge of kink, creating a safe, inclusive, and judgment-free space for artists of all levels. Rooted in consent, curiosity, and creativity, it celebrates body diversity and bridges the gap between art and empowerment.
This ecotherapeutic series combines nature meditation, conservation, and somatic practices like yoga and breathwork. The stewardship series includes a complimentary 45-minute vinyasa flow followed by park clean-up activities. This practice is rooted in the philosophy of Karma Yoga, the "path of unselfish action".
This offering, whose name stands for Music, Meditation, and Movement (MMM), is a deeply integrative experience designed to harmonize the body and mind. The class is structured as a sound circle, fostering a sense of community. It begins with mindful movement, followed by a guided meditation and a sound bath. Participants are encouraged to explore self-expression through music and dance.
RnR (Rope and Relaxation) Coming Soon!
This unique and advanced class combines the passive, long-held poses of Yin Yoga with the intentional, binding art of predicament bondage. In this setting, the rope is not a restraint but a transformative tool—it is used as a yoga strap or assistive prop to help students deepen their stretches and explore a new relationship with their body. The class is rooted in the principles of consent, intentionality, and trust, creating a powerful experience of self-discovery and reclaiming personal agency. It is a space for mindful exploration where participants can cultivate rest, release, and liberation.
Yin & Nidra
A gentle and meditative pairing. Yin yoga uses long-held, passive poses to promote flexibility and stillness. Yoga Nidra, or "yogic sleep," is a guided meditation practice that induces profound relaxation.
Yinyasa
This class blends the dynamic, flowing movements of Vinyasa with the long-held, restorative poses of Yin. It offers a balanced practice that builds heat and strength before transitioning into deep, relaxing stretches.
Yoga Choreography
A class for dancers and yogis alike, this offering focuses on learning and performing choreographed yoga sequences. It merges the discipline of dance with the mindfulness of yoga, encouraging creative expression.
Reiki-Infused Yin
Experience deep relaxation and energetic healing in this specialized class. A traditional Yin practice is enhanced with the gentle, hands-on energy work of Reiki, which helps to balance the body's energy centers and promote a sense of deep peace and well-being.
